    Winch mounting question

I have a 99 GU 4.5 TI LWB auto wagon with the standard "bull" bar (or calf bar as my Dad calls it). Just wondering if there is a way to mount a winch in the front of the car where the number plate is at the moment without a winch bar. Can you install some time of cradle? I went into ARB and TJM and they said no and wanted to sell me a new bar, so just wondering. I like the standard look and am trying to avoid having a huge bar on the front.

I take it you have an Alloy bar with the 6 or so slots across the front
Ill find a link for the cradle and put it here for you

    Thanks, will look into them

The bar is the third pic here

There's nothing actually on the bar to mount a winch on so will look at cradles or a better bar

I think one of our UK members or someone recently did a hidden winch project
Same bar everything, maybe you could search for that. It was only in the last
month or so, It looked like a ripper of an idea

Here you go Richards Pictures the lot ,so good luck with it
