    zd 30 turbo leaking air

hi guys i recently put in a dawes valve and blocked my egr and have developed an air noise when just holding my speed goes away when accelerating. i sprayed soapy water around the engine bay and the turbo seems to be blowing bubbles from where the actuator goes down to the turbo . any thoughts on whats going on here ??

So is it coming from the actuator itself or the lever arm on the turbo??
Either way it's a leak and needs fixing..

Did you fit a needle valve with the dawes?

Find that strange being vacuum operated

I think you need some gauges if you haven't already so you can monitor what's going on.
    Boost and EGT

Where and how did you block the EGR???
04 ST 3lt auto, not enough Mods to keep me happy, but getting there

This.... your turbo is vacuum controlled. So if its blowing bubbles, somethings not right.

    I wonder if that's normal..
But could you be hearing the needle valve??
It would be not working as much when cruzing compared to full throttle..
    Cheers
