    Doors automatically locking

    Hey guys has anyone heard of the doors auto locking ?? I've got a 2006 patrol and while doing my water pump I noticed my doors locking even when open never done this before, seems to have started since disconnecting my battery to reset ecu, anyone??bonnet open when it's trying to lock

    The doors will auto lock if you disarm with the button and don't open a door. Once a door has been opened it should stay unlocked. Opening the bonnet won't help as it is operated by the door switch - sort of. The voltage change from the interior light triggers it I think.

    This might explain a few things, years ago I swapped out the interior
    light for a full led unit. then my remote went on the blink I think I'll
    re fit the OE light and globe and see how that effects the central locking.

    Doors still locking automatically , just got back from driving turned car off door open and it's tried to lock but this happens randomly , all interior lights still work as normal everything is working correctly except the doors

    Don't happen 2 have the remote in your hand or pocket.

    I know my old mans aftermarket central locking for his GQ has a very sensitive remote, he can put the keys in his pocket while walking away and it will unlock and lock
    Time is never wasted when your wasted all the time
