GU LHF Power window intermittently not working

My GU patrol Left Hand Front Window intermittently won't work. I have already replaced the motor and assembly. Before i go and replace switches and rip out wiring shortly followed by burning the car does anyone have a schematic of the electrical system i can get a copy of or can tell me what it the most likely cause.
    Thanks in advanced

Is it only that window? Is it faulty with both switches, or just one switch?

Ditto. Take the switch out of the offending door and pull it apart and clean the contacts. It is a very easy quick job. A little finicky but simple.

Had the same problem a few years ago with my GU. Seemed to be coming from a loose connection on the wiring behind the LHF kick panel. I had run some antenna coax & electrical wires thru there a couple of days before. Gave the harness a bit of a jiggle and it has been good ever since. Might be worth a look.

Also try re-doing a few of the earth straps for up the front of the Patrol.
You'll find the Patrol has earths for different portions of the car, eg engine
bay, dash, front passenger area then motor to chassis and motor to chassis
It goes on and on but you need to look after your earth straps
04 ST 3lt auto, not enough Mods to keep me happy, but getting there
