I put the usb charger on the back of the centre console right below the rear ac control.
Although I would like to put it on the side, as once the kids kicked the cable when plugged in (boys...)

Window/arm rest would be a worry for me as I am sure they will open the door several times with the iPad or iPod plugged in and dragging and throwing them outside.

Yes this crossed my mind but you can't win the all. Pros versus cons. Pros won! I will make a point of reminding the kids whenever we pull up to unplug before getting out.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Sure I've seen this done before, but without the brilliant write up, might even been on another forum. Can't remember. Anyway nice clean finish as always Darren.

i would have done it slightly different i'm not a fan of terminals like that in hard to get places .......
i personally would have got some heat shrink cut the wire split the strands into two on all three twist them to gether then solderd place heat shrink over the lot and heated it ......... but thats me but awesome job all the same
only reason i say this is dust and vibration
