3.0L EGT gauge install

hi all, im looking to install an EGT gauge on my 2001 3.0l stock exhaust does anyone have any tips or photos like where i should mount it and how? also what egt's are people getting?

Hi mate and welcome to the forum, might want to start with an intro first,
just something the forum asks of us all, no harm done just polite and all.
As for your EGTs most would have a bung welded about 100 post turbo in the dump pipe.
Boost gauges are via a pillar pod in most cases too. any prolonged temps above 500
would require backing off and in a hurry too
