    GU Pillar pod

I am after a pillar pod for the heap. I was going to buy an extreme limits offroad one, but they no longer exist from my google search. I don't like the look of the 4x4 concepts one as it looks to bulky. I see Patrol A part are selling them on Ebay but they say they are from 4x4 Concepts. In the pic they don't look as bulky. Anyone got or seen one from patrol A Part or know of another Company selling them?

Pretty sure 4x4 concepts are the ony ones going atm.
I have the early version of their dual pillar pod, i s
shifted my cruise control light .
there are some very nice dash pod to house a few gauges.
I just covered a cheap triple binnacle with the same material
as my dash mat looks ok IMO

Thanks Threedogs. I just emailed 4X4 concepts asking if they have changed their design. I don't like putting anybodys stuff down. But I had to tell them I didn't like their current one.

    G'day TuffTD42,

I did just pick one up from PatrolApart Friday just gone to install gauges/switches for their connections this week, currently in the shop, sorry no pics to show yet mate.

They do have 2 & 3 gauge pods, not sure what brand, but I was pretty damn happy with shape/design.
(It kind of looks like a cross bread between your two pictures)

Material was pretty bloody strong, amazingly flexible, this morning at 5:00am got the Dremmel out to cut in 2 x rocker switches in top pod (3mm centre strip left between them, still tough as! ) Dirty old blunt 51mm holesaw for 52mm gauge which pushed in hard and secure with good grip & 12mm toggle switch on bottom tucked away (bump safe) for thermo isolate.

Possibly it could be aesthetically chunkier than you mentioned preferred but their's had great space behind for ease of connection/maintenance !

    Cheers MB

Thanks MB. Yea patrol A part sell the Concept 4x4 pods. Just personnel preference, but I Prefer the less chunky ones (Hope my missus doesn't read that lol). Anyway thanks for the info, may have to settle for one of those until someone else starts production on the slimmer type. Cheers Jono.
