+ve wire in cab when on ON

    Hi All,

Trying to wire in my EGT gauge and trying to identify a wire that supplies +ve inside the cab, I've got the service manual here but can't make head or tail of the wiring diagrams.

    Cheers

Well I found a wire that I though was on or ACC when testing it with a multimeter, switched the car off and no volts just connected it to the gauge and its directly connected to the battery. There were a few expletives let out

I think i picked mine up off either the factory spot light switch in the dash or the dash dimmer.. can't remember exactly... But best past was the wiring was long enough to pull the switch out of the dash and do all the wiring from the drivers seat without having to break my back with jap hands laying on the floor working over head.

Cheers ET looks like a good option and a bit neater than splicing into existing wires
