Wanted Battery isolator with damaged microcontroller

    Hello All,

Hope you all had a great weekend.
I am looking for a dual battery isolator which you like get rid of due to damaged circuit.
My plan is for a test circuit with arduino to see how well it can be utilised in dual battery arrangements.

    Happy to pay for postage.

    Thanks

    escix,
You might be better looking for an alternative to an Arduino. The Atmega processors are not low power so you will end up with a steady drain on your battery. It's not huge (around 20mA or so just for the processor is what I have noticed) but a low-power processor will be a LOT less. And you don't need much computing grunt for something as simple as a VSR.

BB, the main power consumption in arduino is from the voltage regulator. If I am using the Atmega328 then the power usage is in mA (around 25mA) and again at 5V.
This, I believe will be much less than the radio standby power requirement.

As far as the relay and solenoid is working that should be fine bloodyaussie.
The circuit is no use to me as it will be replaced by the arduino
