    Lost key.

    Hi guys,
I have lost one of my keys (with remote) to my 2011 patrol (3.0)
Just went to the key man in our shopping centre who quoted me $119 for just the key, no remote!!!
Can anyone direct me to where I can get a new one done, preferably with remote.
    Thanks

Have a look on ebay. They have a range of Nissan Key blanks with either fobs or the remote built in. You would still have to have the blank cut and the key's NATS chip coded before it will work. You would then have to code the remote. Some you can do yourself and some require the Nissan computer. You can get a key blank for under $10 - but it does not contain a chip or the remote. If you get the key blank cut (by any locksmith) it will open the doors but wll not start the vehicle.

Try an actual locksmith. They usually have or can get what you need.

If you don't have a working key/remote you will need to go to a locksmith or Nissan.

Personally, I would contact your insurance company and tell them that your keys are missing. They should then cover you to have the key lock codes changed and supply new keys/remotes.

I paid $120 for mine about 18months ago. No remote just the NATS key.
