urgent help
Hi had a major issue computer crashed with all my photos of the donor car being stripped, so now im stuck remembering where the bundy tubing from the filter exactly runs across the firewall and the positioning of the black cannister and bracket plate is located. If anyone has pics of their td42 with the engine out and some good pics of the engine bay it would be greatly appreciated.

I have removed that entire manifold. Just ridiculous. So much extra plumbing, it all goes over to the drivers side mate. I have relocated my vac canisters to the drivers side also to make way for a large air box. Check out the last couple of pages of my build thread. I will jump on tappa and post some pics to if you like.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Note that your fuel lines cross over from the drivers side to your primer filter then straight back over again. Dumb design. I have also mounted that on the drivers side and removed the excess fuel lines off the fire wall.
It's now mounted off the battery tray using the factory mount modified.

Sure. There is just sooo much plumbing running across the fire wall which is doubled up and not required.
Note also it was in my way as this is the airbox going in...
