Yeah I have only ever been able to see the half hour snippets on sbs as I don't have foxtel etc. This year I have good streaming so Ill be able to catch more of it on demand.

That Aussie Guy won the bike section by 39 min great
effort seeing he was nearly in a wheel chair a few years ago

Not trying to nitpick but Toby Price is not a privateer in this Dakar race but Red Bull KTM factory team rider. His win is still an amazing feat considering that last year he was a rookie.
The second placed Slovakian rider Stefan Svitko is the privateer actually, which is also top result for him. It really chits me to tears how ABC reports him as Price's team mate as well. The only common thing those two had was the name of the bike they rode. Lazy journous!
I only wish SBS has commited to better coverage instead of those 26 mins snippets. Amazing scenery/landscapes over there for sure.

Yeah cool, I didn't realise that. Yeah it would be great to see more but at least sbs shows it not like other channels that don't seem to realise it exists and are more concerned about tired old afl stories
