    I don't seem to have enough space there Westy.

    The hand-grip on the roof bar mount and the black plastic cover on the roof bar end restrict the space to mount the light.

    I will give it another try anyway, never hurts to make sure twice.

    Yea now looking at the pics it does look a bit big..
    What about flipping them and grabbing a slim line 6" work light / bar from led light co. Same out put as the double row ones but much slimmer..

    If you type roof rack brackets on Ebay you will find hundreds of different shaped brackets

    20 watt would be the highest Id go ,
    you'd get plenty of hours from your Aux battery

    Yes it is super solid TD. May be because I know that I did that or because as you said TD, it does stick out a bit.
    I think I liked my mock up setup better (previous photos).

    These bits slide inside the rack and with a bit of flat steel should hold the light nice and tight
