Crd fuel pump at 90 thou
So was reading threw the service manual and it says to do the fuel pump at 90,000k.
Then my brother turns around and says sell the gu as I'll be up for a fuel pump in 6 months...
Now I trust my brother but can't find anything about people changing pumps at a service, or them failing..
The gq pump and injectors are supposed to be a 100,000k setup and well mine is 525,000 all original..
So am I being pranoid and my brother being a Toyota douche??
Or do you guys actually plan too or have changed em at 90 thou??

Tell him he's dreaming, lol Mine has 220 on the clock just sat for over a week during Xmas and started in a Nano second .
I have never heard of ppl changing IP at 90k ,,,,a service alone would be $$$ IMO
You mean injector pump or fuel pump most fit and extra lift pump

I call bollocks...
Are you sure that entry in the Service Book refers or is applicable to the CRD?
Manuf will often use one book for several model/engine variants
I've never heard of one being chnaged that wasn't stuffed by bad fuel no matter the K's

Yeah a load of horse manure..... That would be a very very expensive exercise just for the sake of "routine" maintenance. Those CRD pumps are around $1500 or there abouts.....

IIRC the 80 K and 160 K service is the big one on the CRD's anyway.
Least it was on mine... and mine still had the original pump when I sold it and that was with servicings only ever done by Nissan Dealers

Think you're reading it wrong.
Timing belt that services the camshaft and IP?

Just my take, but I think that's only referring to the timing belt?
