Maxtraxs and other brands have been around a while now and thought Id look into it a bit more.
Probably more suited to sand work on the beaches, but handy neither the less
How many of you that have them think they are a good bit of kit??
Have they lived up to the hype?
Are they lasting [how many times used]

Mine are 5 years or so old, used a few dozen times or so and still good...

Agree wholeheartedly. I used mine to try and restart my progress up a sand dune. Melted some of the lugs but not too bad.mine are good, downside dont use too much jandel as the lugs snap off or melt
