    Winch Grease

I am bout to add some grease to my new winch.
    ref : http://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forum...780#post640780

Is this OK to use: LubriMatic Marine Grease.

I don't know what is in there besides the original being red in colour.

Is mixing grease ideal or not an issue.

Is be inclined to clean out the other grease and not mix them. Id have thought the marine grease was fine.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

All I can get is this:
"water-insoluble formula and corrosion inhibitors, making it perfect for use with marine-related applications. It offers superior corrosion protection in severe operating conditions and is ideal for use with winches, hinges, wheel bearings, and in many other uses."

At present that will do till I take it down again in 12 months time.
Should say till Jan/Fb when I have some more time.

There is a very thin rubber seal between the gearbox and main body. What is the best goo to use to improve the seal?
