    Bearded Dragon

    Hiding in plain sight!
    Found this little guy/girl in our front yard tonight.
    Didn’t seem concerned as I moved around to get it from all angles.

    My all time favorite lizard. Ever since a was a kid and holding one at the zoo..
    Always wanted one.. could never afford it..

    They're starting to come out at our place as well. I have a pic I'll try to find of one of them trying to scare our german shepherd away by swelling up his neck.

    No, they don't. In fact, they will only move away if they realise they've been seen. They try to freeze to appear like a piece of wood, much like the tawny frogmouths.
    Although they're mostly on rocks or logs, I'm always careful when I'm on the ride-on mower because they don't move out of the way.

    I love my reptiles, would love 2 own a snake but the missus won't let me.

    I only currently own 1 Pygmy Dragon but hope 2 add 2 the collection soon, will post up a pic of it later but if your interested in lizards and are on FB, like my page: https://www.facebook.com/Raptazor

    I had some snakes as a kid for a very short time, my parents made me get rid of them.
    Apparently baby brown snakes are not appropriate pets for a 10yo boy.

    hahahaha and you can't have one legally anyway and is the only snake I do not like seeing in my backyard!
