We use a laptop when we are out. It has all our music, movies and games for the kids as well as storing the photos and videos we take along the way. One device and it has multiple uses and takes nothing to re charge.

Totally agree Cuppa, And has already been mentioned, do not wish to be telling people how to run their life.
However, in this day and age kids rarely run around climbing trees, exploring etc etc and by nightfall they fall into bed and are asleep with the chooks.
No, today's kids sit tapping away on their electronic gadgets etc etc not burning up any energy not interacting and by nightfall are still hyped up and need something to entice them into bed.
Sending kids to bed with a TV set up to watch a movie, the mind boggles. You hear so many stories about kids falling asleep in school classes, why because they don't get their 10/12 hours needed sleep.

I dont want a tv just so i can watch it out bush its something for the kids after a long day, just to sit a chill before bed there young and crazy little monkey's a movie before beds settles my two boys

I have a 15" flip down I need to install for any adult fillem nights along the Murray DVD only.
I did take it once hooked up in the camper never again, boy what a night. If I need to watch
TV I just press TV on the double din head unit, ha ha ha
04 ST 3lt auto, not enough Mods to keep me happy, but getting there
