Sounds like a great trip, if I wasn't relaxing on the GBR of Port Douglas I would have joined you. Never been to the high country (well not of the black top anyway).

I have a bit of a dilemma and that is that mags has said she would be interested in coming but cannot get any time off work so would be Friday night before we could leave.... traffic is always crazy and it is a long drive and would arrive at about 11pm... im not sure what to do.?

Tell her she's coming. Catherine is coming and wants her too. Plus we will be leaving much the same time so we can go together.

You could always leave at a ridiculous time, like 4 am. Should be less traffic.

Yeah me and the missus spoke, and she would prefer to leave real early of Saturday. But i have nfi on where im going so if Friday late it is, then it is i suppose.
But a 4am leave would be good. Then we can set up in light.
