Installing catch can - location question

I'm in a bit of a dilemma with installing my Provent 200 catch can. My PCV valve is located on the back of the engine with the hose running around to the right side (passenger side for the Aussies) and into the intake.

Problem I'm having is that there is no room on the right side of the engine to mount it, so it has to go on the left. This puts it inline before the PCV valve. Is this a problem? Should I try to install it after the PCV valve, pre-valve or bypass the valve completely?

If I install it post-PCV, it will take a lot of extra hose to get it routed correctly. Anyone have any advice? It's getting pretty cramped under the hood on my 2.8.

Here's some pix of how crowded my engine bay is. I may have found a place under the air intake hose, but I have to fabricate a bracket for it. Can't seem to find much of any other place to put it.

Installing catch can - location question

I know lm a lot newer and a 3lt but I could only fit mine in front of the engine behind the grill.

Thanks Mega! You must be crowded to fit that on the front. Unfortunately on the 2.8, I don't even have that much room between my grill and radiator.

I'm going to have to make a bracket as well. I think I found a spot close to the air filter box which will work. It shouldn't be in the way there. In all of this one of my questions wasn't answered - does it have to be installed post-PCV? or can it tie into the hose before the PCV valve?
