Winnie's high country grand final weekend

Decided to miss the footy and head out bush for the long weekend with two 80 series Cruisers.

This was our first morning, after driving through the night and rolling into camp at 3am! We drove the entire Mt Margaret track. Muttonwood at Licola


We headed back up the first part of Mt Margaret in the morning. Doesn't look it but it's super steep.

From Mt Margaret track we headed up Chromite Mine Track and onto B1 and B2 (this is the drive we did out of Licola on our first forum trip there)

We also stopped at this helipad on our forum trip.

There were many many many river crossings! THis is part of the Crooked River Track

Heading up to Blue Rag Range track, I bloody forgot that it was a SC track so had to miss out on that one.

We ended up finding a campsite at about 8pm and hit the sack pretty early.
We crossed some more rivers

Then it was off to the pub before we headed home!

Awesome weekend away even if it was spent with Land Cruiser drivers.

Well of course the patrol was legendary, one cruiser busted a wheel bearing but luckily we were on the way home and on the highway.
