Lyons river,on the Ullawarra RD.very out of the way..we where travelling from Exmouth to Kalgoolie (WA),and found this nice little water hole.1700km of tracks and passed only 4 other cars

In first place with 18 votes is TPC with his photo of the vehicles out in the Northern Simpson Desert. I thought as soon as he posted it that it would be the winner as it encapsulates a concept difficult to catch with a camera - ‘Remote’.
In second place with 15 votes is Megatexture’s photo of a remote village he cycled past in Madagascar. I don’t know about others but I’d be most interested to hear the story about how he came to be cycling in that part of the world.
