power loss

Hi guys, have searched a little bit am in middle of bum fk nowhere on a mobile.

Wondering if anyone may have an answer.

Whilst out on a corrugated (shothouse) road my engine light came on and the car struggled to get past 2500 revs at best. If I clutch in and rev it seemed to clear the power issue for a short while. Though the engine light stayed on. I cant say 100% but I only noticed the light after hearing few stones under the vehicle. I stopped for a short time and when kicked her over the light had gone and all was fine. Then it came on later when I went out again. Same thing after stopping it went off again.

It did flicker now and again since ive owned the car (a year now)

Any help would be appreciated as I have a 2400kl journey home soon.

I know this has been up for a month but I doubt you have a y62 tell us a bit more about your car
