What is your preference for diesel...
Do you have a favourite diesel you swear by or do you not care less as long as it is cheap.
I have been going to my Caltex now for some time and tend to look out for a Caltex when I am traveling..
Do you notice any difference in mileage.
Sorry if there is already a topic on this... the search engine sucks.

I always look for shell or caltex. I don't even look at the prices because I am lucky enough to only ever have to pay for fuel when I am driving the patrol so if I pay a bit extra I don't mind

I look for Caltex vortex. I used to feel it on my 2.5L navara, and got into the habit of buying it.
Noticed nothing on the 3L and 4.2L patrols though.

And its the same stuff lol. Most trucks now run common rail systems so require same fuel quality as the little passenger car diesels. So is good for a 4.2

Yes. It is usually the cheapest. It takes me a while to require a fill though with how much I use my patrol now.
