Hello! newbie here
Hey everyone!
My brother just bought himself a 1990 GQ Patrol. There are alot of awesome and not so awesome things about it. It really is a great model vehicle though.
I'm an apprentice mechanic and am currently at work trying to diagnose a problem with the cluster.. I found this forum because it has a download of the service manual and I am looking forward to getting to know you all and your patrols while I work my way towards the 25 posts and beyond
I'm starting to realise that there have been alot of people with similar issues (the speedo, odometer and fuel gauge don't work) the speedo gear in the gear box is all good so it's looking like i might be looking for a replacement cluster.. :S

Advanced
Welcome mate. Its always good to have a mechanic in the family. My brother inlaw is a Diesel Mech working on John Holland, International and John Deere, so I'm well sorted.
Enjoy, and look forward to your knowledge.
Arguing with a Zealot, is only slightly easier than tunnelling through a mountain with your forehead !!!
