MY 2002 Gu 111 has the engine light flashing and the subtank light on?
Hi can someone help a damsel in distress with ideas and information on what is causing this problem? so far I have put an new earth cable from battery to chassis by RHS headlight, and have taken both leads off the battery overnight. Kind regards Di
Oh I forgot to say I have a 2002 4.2 diesel

Check your alternator sounds silly but when my one went on my patrol I had those dashboard lights on worth a look

Welcome - might need to post this question in the mechanical section, but with an engine light id suggest you need to either get it into Nissan so that can plug it into their Consult 2 Tool to run diagnostics, or find a mechanic whom has a diagnostic tool to fit the 14pin diagnostic socket in the 4.2 as it is different from the later 3.0 models. If you post this in the mechanical section on this forum im sure you will get some more accurate advice.

This sounds likely. Could be time for new alternator brushes.
