TransGo shift kit can usually be found on Ebay for around $140. Other option is Nomad valve body for close to $1200..
Not too difficult to drop the valve body and do yourself if you're familiar with this kind of thing.
Don't bother if the box has 200 + kms..

A lot of work to change a camshaft for limited returns and you wouldn't get much benefit without an engine management system. You can't modify the TB45 ECU.
TB45 engines respond well to forced induction.

What will be the difference between a transgo shift kit to the nomad valve body apart from the price

If you're serious about wanting to turbo it, have a look at my turbo install thread in the DIY section. I changed my mind and went to diesel so now all my turbo gear is for sale including the Xede piggyback.
I used the manifold and the cheap Ebay intercooler on my TD42.
Here's an overall pic of most of the stuff..

I have used both. I installed my own TransGo kit and used it for a few years. I still have the valve body here with it fitted.
I now have a Nomad because I got it very very cheaply from a damaged trans.
I was expecting the Nomad to be a lot crisper but honestly there's not a big difference between the 2.

    $1000

Converting to diesel is not cheap especially if you want to go to factory turbo and keep the auto.
Mine has cost me $10k but that was my initial budget anyway and I did everything myself.
