    MQ restoration

Hi! I have an old Patrol MQ that hasn't been used in a while and would like to see if it can be brought back to life. It has a fair bit of rust and the exhaust manifold has had it but the engine should be OK.....The car is currently based in Brisbane. Just looking to determine whether it's a viable project at this stage. Does anyone know anyone in the area who restores MQ's or can point me in the right direction to get started???
    Thanks!!

Depends on how much rust and where it is. If you wont be doing the work and paying someone else to do it then my advice would be not to go ahead with it unless you have very deep pockets. If it just rust in the guards then you could look at replacing them. If the rust is in the chaise then you are up for big bucks and a lot of work.
