Cleaning TB45 injectors
Hi Guys, Im looking to get the injectors cleaned but i've been told that this particular style of side inlet injectors can't be serviced. Has anyone had them cleaned professionally? Im not prepared to pay almost $400 each for new ones.
I've only been to one place so far but he said they they're a throw away injector.

If you take the fuel rail off with the injectors they should be serviceable. I did my own, 1 at a time, with compressed air and kerosene.
I also did my RB25 370cc injectors the same way.
You see immediately if you have an issue or not with the spray pattern.

Do you mind giving me a little run down on how you went about it. Did you use power to hold them open?

I fixed a length of compressor hose with a nitto fitting on the end to the fuel rail with the regulator end blocked off and filled it with kero.
I had a single plug connected to a battery with a pushbutton.
I connected the air line to the nitto to pressurise the kero and did them one by one. I placed each injector in turn over a glass coffee jar to catch the kero.
All mine sprayed well. You'll see straightaway if one has on issue.
