Knuckle spindle thread damaged.
Hi guys/gals I have been searching the forum and web and can't seem to find any info regarding the patrols knuckle spindle thread.
Just after what type of thread size the spindle has as one of the spindles has been damaged due to a bearing failure and I don't want to dish out 300-400 bucks for a new/ restored one. It's much easier and cheaper to re tap the damaged thread as it currently is the only bad part.
Thanks in advance for any help/information.

Can you use a thread file to re-store the thread, they cost around $35 for memory
but a handy bit of kit. even a set of needle files may help in restoring the thread.
Worth a try imo
04 ST 3lt auto, not enough Mods to keep me happy, but getting there

A good fasteners store should
have a thread gauge so you
can get the right die or thread
file.

If there has been any
heat discolouration
in the spindle due to
the bearing failure
replace it.
