I copied the front design but I remember what a cow of a job it was mucking around with factory dash bolts theyre very close to windscreen making it hard accessing so I used L brackets instead at the rear/side and screwed into metal part of dash so good and secure. tHe wires are only seen where it comes out of rear to windscreen so not far and from there reasonably well hidden. I had a dashpod like this one in pic in my old patrol and used its mounting design

Thats really neat. Almost looks factory.
