Difficulty going into gear

Hi guys.
I had a new clutch installed and it worked well for about a week, then randomly whilst i was driving it became hard to push into gear (All gears) the clutch still presses fine and it's the same difficulty when the engine is not running. Had my gearbox let go of something?

your story started to sound like a typical "not getting enough travel" until the bit about hard to get in when engine not running

i would check to see if the gear stick has been put in properly and all the bolts tight on top, pull the leather and rubber boots off and have a look.

Similar thing happened to me a long time ago and I had water inside the bellhousing.

I know it's a long shot but take out the plastic bung on the bottom of the housing and see if any liquid comes out?
