Recovery Gear
Hi all I'm pretty new to this page, im currently setting up my LWB GQ for touring and some medium lvl 4wd around tassie. I brought the patrol few months back, it came with a 6 inch lift, 33's few other mod's. Since buying it I have brought some cheap mod's like, winch bull bar, 12,000 winch, roof cage with roof top tent, dual battery setup, light bar, recovery tracks, work lights. I'm in the process in making my own back bar and the father in law is building some rear draws for me. Must admit I'm not spending big on good gear, most of the stuff has came from 4wd supa centre and eBay. I'm to the point now I need recovery gear, I'm not keen on being skimpy here though. Just wondering what are some good brand names to look for when buying stuff? First off I'll just be going with the basics winch kit, snatch straps, tow points, high lift jack. Some tips would be great here cause I really don't know much about gear

Send Threedogs a pm about his recovery points, he's also got a thread in the vendors section

Roadsafe are another mob who do rated recovery points, which are sold through ebay or various retail outlets

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
WARNING: Towballs used for recoveries can, and do kill people and damage property.
