    Moreton Island

    Hi all
Has anybody took a camper trailer onto Moreton Island? I am going over in the Xmas break and am just a bit concerned about getting bogged. I have towed it on Bribie and had a few issues until i let the preasures down to around 18psi. we are staying at the blue lagoon camp site.

    Hey mate,

You should have no difficulties, the biggest issues are getting on and off the Barge and where you enter and leave the beach. If you drove on Bribie without too many dramas, you won't have any problems on Moreton as the tracks across the middle are relatively easy. Just the same as with Bribie, high tide can cause some dramas with little hard sand to drive on, just remember to ensure you have reduced tyre pressures and take it easy and you wont have any issues. You will love Moreton, it is small, but a very lovely place.

    Cheers

    TC
