    enclosed steel roof rack

I am in the market for a roof rack and these seem like like pretty good value without knowing the build quality. Shame they in Vicco.....

Junk. That is a runout TigerzII for sure mate. You want more cross members in the build and at least 4 feet a side for my money.

Note how far apart the cross bars are, then look for pics of others and note there are quite a few more cross bars on the more expensive ones.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Fair enough. But for $350 you have to expect less quality than the $1000 quality alternative.

Thanks for offer, getting roof racks freighted is not cheap so hoping to buy local (SA). Also thinking now that a tradesman rack probably suits me best - bit less drag and good when i throw the longboard up there

Had a look at the supacentre ones but they look like they got the big gaps between spacers like Mudrunner gave me a hard time for on the one i posted to start with. I take his point, now that i am looking around i have seen some with the mesh sagging/bent inbetween the spacers cos they have too big a gap.
I dont mind the look of these aluminum/alloy ones but not sure how strong they be - they have plenty of spacers? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Full-Leng...item25916377bd
