OMEO to JINDY

next week im heading up to falls and then over to thredbo from adelaide....

done this trip a few time from mt beaty to Jindy via the murray valley Highway/alpine way.

was hoping to try something different and go:

Mt beauty - Bright- Omeo - Benambra then take - limestone RD - Snowy River RD/Barry Way - Jindy

now i know this isnt really 4x4 Tracks but it pays to have my GQ on the job im more after a little local Knowledge or someone whos driven it before.

currently VIC Roads sayes the Limestone Rd is closed due to wet conditions. asuming this will probably stay shut for the rest of winter. anyone have any other access roads that dont send me all the way down to bruthen/Lakes entrance.. if not il just go the usual way. just looking for something different and a bit of dirt in the wheels.

Whos best to Ring in that area in regards to Rd conditions and Closures.
