Thanks for confirmation mate. It looked factory, but just wasn't sure what it was about. Compared family friends 2003 ute Td42 and his didn't have it ...

Was it the factory intercooled td42ti or an early 03 that is just a t? My 04 ute has it on the sump and every other later td42ti patrol I have been under also had it.

His wasn't factory intercooled. He fitted a CC cooler later on. Definitely hasn't got that patch thing, whatever it does...

One of the first jobs I'll have to attack on the car is the underbody. Because the bloke lived near the salt crystalization in Adelaide, underneath has that surface corrosion/rust look. Will have to get it cleaned up and sprayed. It's probably fine, but just wouldn't want it developing any further.

Well done Hodge. Happy for you mate. Low km's, sounds like a good win. Relax and enjoy now.

Gonna have a bit of work and catching up to do for all your mods again, but that's half the fun I reckon. (aside from the $$$)
    Thanks, Cameron

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Saw this in person today. Straight body inside and out. I am very envious at the moment.
But Eric couldn't wipe the smile of his face the whole time. Now he's got a blank canvas to work on which will be fun to see.

Btw Eric, dont forget to clean the maf...

I know that mine is nothing compared to this, not even close... But having a blank canvas to start with is one of the reasons why I brought mine.

You will need to start another list now.
Looks great, even if its white....
