Tyres that fit on standard 17' rims??
Hey guys,
Just wondering if anyone can help me out, I am getting a set of 33's very soon for my rig but don't know what size will fit without scrubbing on the standard 17 inch rims? I have narrowed my tyre choice down to two and its gunna be either Dick Cepek Fun Countries or Micky Thompson Deegan 38's. My question is will 305/65/17 fit without scrubbing or should I go 285/70/17?? I will be fitting a 2" lift before these are fitted and want to keep the standard alloy rims. Any feedback on these tyres would be great if someone already has them fitted, and as its around a $2000 exercise for these tyres I don't wanna order the wrong ones.
Thanks in advance for any help guys, much appreciated.

The 285s are less likely to rub than the 305s

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
