I recently bought my first Patrol. 
Have taken if for a couple of drives so far. Looking forward to many good family times in it! It's a 2002 GU with the 4.8L Petrol. Thirsty as around town, but not too bad once we get off the beaten track.
Have attached a few pics of my baby. The Spanish Steps near Lithgow were interesting, and yes that is the carpet on the roof racks in the second picture. But on the bright side, it's all back in there and as good as new (hence the 4th picture). I may have got stuck in a hole and flooded it...
