Thank You Victorian Police
BIG THANKS to the Cop that pulled me up in Victoria today, clocked me at 121 kph and was a $220 fine, he let me off with a warning and said to have a safe trip home to Perth, thanks heaps mate. Lesson learned was when you put 33" tryes on it puts your speedo out, I should have remembered that earlier after all these years, wondered why everyone else was going so slow...hahaha

..........
You were lucky.
They were probably amazed that a Diesel Patrol could actually go that fast.

They are deadly serious about the road toll here, maybe break out the GPS
for a more accurate reading
If you were getting a ticket for 121kph you were probably doing 126ish kph
Very very very lucky, but we all deserve a break at some stage, dont we lol

I assume you were nice and polite and he was a reasonable bloke, good outcome.
Mate of mine was "done" in Bremer Bay WA over the Easter break.
He was leaving town, was in a 50 k zone, saw the 80 k sign 100 m in front of him, so accelerated, two girlie cops hiding behind the 80 k sign did him for 60 k in a 50 zone. Also gave him a breath test, inspected his 6mth old Prado for defects and where going to book him for not having a rego sticker, they aren't issued in the ACT (or most other states I think) anymore. Held him up for 1/2 hour while they checked his "story". Oh, he is a grey haired 65 year old, so hardly a bogan hoon.
Score Vic Police 1 WA 0
