    zd30 detuning

Wandering around the net a couple of days ago, i ended up at the south african patrol site. Their patrol has 110kw as to our(aust) 118kw. Their distance for both tanks of fuel was quoted at 1600K, mine is a paltry 950k. OK, i have a constant 400 extra kilos to carry around. How can i detune my patrol to get to this Eldorado.
    What would be the negatives?

I think you would need the ECU from the South African Patrol or for someone to remap the ECU with the South African specs. I know people are starting to remap ZD30's for more power but I do not know if they have maps to detune the engine.

That's the other way of getting more km's to a tank.

    That's around 11.4 litres per 100km.
