Oil Filters

can anyone clear up the details of what oil filters i should be using on my TD42 Ti.
i have be using the same 2 filters but recently i went to by them and the parts dude told me there are 2 different filters.

I'm hoping 2 by Z503 Rycos. That's what I've been told and I just bought a case of them...

2 x Z503’s on mine, even though some of the pars books which auto stores have says different.
Drive belts are also often wrongly listed.

Z503s on mine too but there are some that do run 2 different filters....... theres a thread on here somewhere that has a bit of discussion

think mine has 2 z11 's ... will have to check

If you having been using 2 the same then continue to do so. There is no way the other type will go onto what you have.

The early td42t had the 2 different filters. I believe this may have been 99-01. All others run 2 the same.

Thanks guys i will continue with the 2 Z503
