    Clutch troubles

    Hey guys I brought an Mq ute about a week ago needed a new clutch o got it home but going up hills it hops and jumps like the clutch grabs and let's go and same thing over over driving on flat or down hill is fine so I put a new clutch in and replaced the slave cylinder b coz it was shot the clutch is now mint fine when driving on flat but when you go up hill it hops and bounces again any help would be muchly appreciated thankyou

    I take it when you did the clutch the flywheel was machined , new pressure plate ,spigot bearing were all done etc.

    Yeh we hit it with a wizzer and put a full clutch kit in then we noticed the slave was almost gone and had to fully adjust it out to get any clutch so we replaced that to

    Do you think you may have bent the pressure plate fingers on the reinstall .Is possible if doing a refit from underneath but not common . Maybe try a bleed again I bleed mine by putting a soft hose on the bleeder and zip it up high with the bleed screw open and give it a good flush through ,makes it a one man operation with good results .

    I had a friend help me he's really car Davy has a hoist in his shed also used clutch aligning tool I will defornately try bleeding again your way thanks very much for the help

    I've re bled it it's better but still jumps when hot going up hills
