Massive Airbag Recall on Patrols and other vehicles...
Just saw this article.

Cars listed so far as possibilities:
Nissan Australia has now recalled a total of 156,000 cars equipped with Takata airbags, and also says it is yet to receive information on further recalls.

Honda CR-V 2002 to 2008

Nissan T30 X-TRAIL
Nissan A33 Maxima
Toyota Echo 2003 to 2005
Toyota RAV4 2003 to 2005

I Saw this also. It said in the article the airbags were typically manfactured between 2003-2007. So in theory I should be ok

I don't think I'd be so sure there lucas..with all the hiding and not willing to admit fault,also some as late as 2009..think this list will be added to over time.....

Looks like cars manufactured between 2003 and 2007 may be affected. Hoping my 2007 misses out.
2007 DX CRD Wagon - EFS 2" lift, BOSS Chassis Brace Kit, Steel Bull Bar, Runva 9500-Q winch, FyrLyt's, Rock Sliders, Rear bar with wheel and twin jerry carriers, Drawers, Fridge slide, dual battery, Red Arc BCDC 1220, Red Arc EGT/Boost gauge, Scangauge, Uniden UHF, Prodigy P2 brake controller, CC Intercooler, Pacemaker 3" zhaust, HPD Dawes, ECU Remap.

Yeah true but mine is the other end. It's a 1999 so could get lucky

Apparently Toyota copped a mammoth number recall for there airbags.

It's the biggest recall already and they have not stopped expanding it. Apparently this company had 20% of the airbag market so from 2003-2007 that's a lot of cars!
