    Yep... The 'other' 4wd has an old caravan annex, adjusted to fit both cars. And I'm lucky enough to have a hubby with a industrial sewing machine. He made a roof and side wall in one, plus another wall that clips on back or front for Katrol. I'll try to find pics. They just fit up to channeling pop riveted to the roof rack.

    Just about to buy an industrial sewing machine, takes too long for my mate to do it.
    Being a qualified technician, sewing is second nature to me Ha Ha.
    I've saved my old shade sail, as that would make a great wall in summer
    plenty of sail track too, might be able to make a wrap around style one.
    04 ST 3lt auto, not enough Mods to keep me happy, but getting there

    His is a family heirloom and worth about $8k, so it does a pretty good job for something so old.

    The canvas with be thick and robust, it would come up trumps.

    Now I think about it it may , just maybe cheaper to buy an old annexe and work it to fit
    the rack on the patrol, as you said Mego nice thick canvas to boot, Im off to Ebay for a look
