Enclosed awning
hi all just wondering how many use an enclosed awning ?
Like extra walls to suit. Thinking by fitting two walls facing the weather,
you would be pretty well protected, was thinking of getting a mate
to make up a tarp to suit.or use shade cloth in summer

Interesting I've been looking around for walls. Its easy to find the main one for the sail track just not for the others.

Yeah they do 3ds but I feel this is better. I was going to get the super cheap auto one but it was only 2.2 long vs the 2.9 therefore I can put it further out

This is my ARB awning tent. As stated it's more of a tent, utilizing the awning structure, poles etc, rather then individual walls. So it is fully sealed and water proof. Saved me last month up in the high country big time as it rained the whole 3 days.
The canvass isn't as thick as your normal tent, but it is nice to get out of the swag, and get dressed in the dry and if you have a family, there is a privacy too. It is very very roomy inside, the photos don't do it justice.
The downside??? You lose the area under the awning, which normally I'd use to cook under, set up a table for cooking, or set a swag under.
NOTE: that darker canvass you can see thrown over the tent is not a part of it, it was just a small canvass i threw over so it can dry a bit.
