RX only channels on a GME TX3510S UHF Radio.

As I'm a complete noobie to the radio game, what channels (if any) do people programme to their UHF radios? I was looking to programme information channels from around my local area and the Blue Mountains and parts of NSW. The radio is capable of storing 95 RX only channels. I've done a Google search, but most of the listings are a couple of years old and it seems a lot of stuff has moved over the the NSW GRN. RX only channels are in the 403 - 520 MHz frequency range. Can anyone point me in the right direction, or is it a waste of time?
