You can drop down to a 15 tooth speedo cog, but ill let you know how this Jaycar speedo correction kit goes once i fitted it.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news for you, regardless of whether your Engineer signed off on your 35s or not it is illegal to run 35" tyres on a Nissan Patrol anywhere in Australia. No getting around it. Simply Un-Engineerable.
Your Engineer signing off that he is OK with the 35s does not make them legal to run in Vic . Damn it!!
You might have got through if you have done a Swerve test and the Braking test but even then I don't think they can certify 35"s

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Id really love to know how solid this is Darren regarding the tyres. I heard the same thing but if an engineer can sign off on them, this makes me wonder.
I'm keen on getting my Patrol engineered, yet to find an engineer...
Once i get back from my trip this is something i want to look, into.

Can anyone clarify what size cog?
I have a standard 06 model with 33inch tires on 17inch rims.
Where's the best place to get it?
