Toolangi Trip 30th of May 2015
After the success the last toolangi trip roughly one year ago its about time we have another.
Date: 30th - 31st of May 2015
Where: Toolangi State Forest
Meeting: 10am HERE (corner Melba hwy and healesville-kinglake rd Toolangi)
There is a gravel parking area on the toolangi side
UHF: Channel 17
For those that want we will camping nearby. Any suggestions on spots or just pick the same one as last year ?
For those that want to just come for the day drive that's fine also.
For those that don't want drive you are more than welcome to come camp with us regardless

Anybody is welcome to join us. Newbies, families etc with any skill level. It may just be the case that its decided you should give certain tracks a miss on the day
Having a rated front recovery point is a absolute minimum requirement but would be preferable to have your own snatch strap and recovery kit
Potential track list:
Looking at doing the following tracks ( time and skill level dependent)
Luke's Creek no1 - The name of this track is awesome
Aeroplane Track
Rocky track
Perhaps Reds East and Reds West for those that want to give something harder a go

I just had a quick look and Google reckons about 2.5 hrs, so even if I say 3 he's, 9:30 or 10:00 am are still no problem instead of 11:00. If you want?

I will definitely be keeping a close eye on this thread. It will depend on a few things. I definitely want to tag along. I would also be keen to do the overnighter if I tag along.

Let's face it its Melb, it will be freezing and more than likely be at the very min be drizzling if not raining slightly this time of the year.

Hi ,i'm new to this forum and to 4wding but was wondering if it was ok to maybe tag along . I have a 89 gq straight 4.2 diesel with a\t's 2 inch lift,uhf...(no snorkel,winch,lockers, compressor etc...) have a basic snatch strap recovery bag.Understand if under equiped...just keen to get out there with some experienced wheelers .
