I used to do a fair bit of stream fishing for trout with lures biggest was 51cm. Never really chased Cod or been up to the top end to chase Barra but it is on the wish list! Once i get the GU set up i plan to do a top end trip and will have a crack at the 1mtr barra!

Well, as has already been said we have had a number of great entries this month .............. & the outcome has been close. However we do have a winner.
In first place 17 votes with his brilliant shot of a jumping salmon is our pommie mate Fracster
Close behind & in joint second place with 16 votes each are Nisshead for his Marlin (& hat) & Bob’s ’serenity on the Murray’.
Close behind again in 3rd place with 14 votes is Nisshead (still with hat) again, this time with a well framed shot of him holding what I believe to be a large tuna?
Plenty of votes were spread around all entries reflecting their quality & the interest in the topic chosen by last month’s winner Nisshead (who almost made it two months in a row). Thanks Kris.
June’s competition topic will be posted in the near future chosen by Fracster.
